Message from the artist:  This artwork illustrates processes and creativity implemenation, and then how it translates to daily life.  As I learn to cope with ADHD, daily I face many thoughts and ideas swirling around in my head.  From a creativity standpoint, it can be very exciting, but its implementation can be overwhelming and frustrating. Mental management is challenging, but not impossible.  The goal is not necessarily block out the many that come, but to learn what to focus on.  Some thoughts are worth pursuing, and others could be acknowledged but do not need attention.  Not only is this relevant to someone with ADHD, but can be applied to all of us with active minds. Life is about learning to control our thoughts, and then acting on those we value most.  Even amidst the chaos, we can still find peace and joy if we can learn this skill.  Although this painting may not encourage a central focus, it allows the viewer to decide for themselves what they will focus on.  With all the muted colors and random shapes, it still maintains an overall sense of peace, harmony, and balance.
